Week 2

 Colour Stories

For this task, I decided to create digital work to present my chosen colour. I had chosen to look into Crimson Red, a colour I am familiar with as it is one I am researching for my main colour brief. Having all the research beforehand was incredibly helpful, and instead of choosing a story of the colours history, I decided to choose a story everyone is familiar with that includes that colour. Red riding hood is a very famous childhood story, a fable that has always used crimson red for the little girls cloak. The colour represents many things, but in this story I believe it represents attraction, bloodlust, warning/danger and innocence. In knowing this, I decided to base my drawings off of these ideas.

I decided to go many creative ways with a variety of styles, but decided I particularly liked one and wanted to develop it further, pushing my ideas. If I were to develop this more I would make the image a lot bigger and add all the smaller details and lighting.
